The Whirokino Trestle and Manawatū River Bridge are located just south of Foxton on State Highway 1. This project had two structures that required replacing due to their economic lives and were built to outdated standards. Within this project maintenance and upgrades were required of the state highway where PPS were awarded the supply and install of wire rope and W-section road barrier systems.
