The 110 km expressway delivers an important section of the Wellington Northern Corridor, a long awaited and essential upgrade of State Highway 1 north of Wellington. This highway is a valuable link to the lower North Island and key regional destinations. The upgrade was required to provide safe and reliable access to and from New Zealand’s capital and third-largest city. We worked in conjunction with the stakeholders and completed some of the various fencing projects across the expressway which included residential fencing, extensive noise walls and specialised boundary fencing.
Our dedicated and experienced team have the resources available to handle any size project.
Tractors
Our multiple tractors are all equipped with the latest models of fence pro, post rammers and loader attachments. The tractors are most used in our rural fencing projects but not limited to.
Viking
Our fencing team utilise the 4x4 side by side Yamaha Viking for mobilising to fence lines in steep terrain and areas of limited access, and to assist in laying out fence materials and running wire with our multiple wire jenny’s.
Tip Truck
Our 8cube tip truck is used on sites to cart material on and off site.
Transporter Truck
We have a 12m flat deck transporter truck capable of transporting up to 12 tonnes. Our transporter is used for establishing and disestablishing off road plant and equipment to site and the cartage of materials supplied on projects.
Forklift
Our forklift has a lift capacity of 2.5 tonne and is 4WD, used for the loading and unloading of materials on our projects. Having our own equipment saves on hireage and finding suitable equipment with the clients to do these tasks. This piece of equipment assists in the reliability and efficiency in our methods of installations on various types of projects.
Tool Trucks
PPS have several fully equipped tool trucks completed with specialised tools dedicated for the maintenance of road barrier installations.

Waikato Expressway/Huntly SectionThe Huntly expressway forms part of the Waikato Expressway, for a more efficient travel link from Auckland, Waikato and through to the Bay of Plenty. We are contributing to the project with boundary fencing, guard rail and wire rope fencing.
Transmission Gully ExpresswayThe 27 kilometre four-lane motorway will run from Mackays Crossing to Linden, through Transmission Gully. We are involved in the project completing various fencing jobs alongside the new roads.
Hamilton ExpresswayThe Hamilton section of the Waikato expressway begins at the Lake Road junction with the Ngāruawāhia section in the north. It then follows south, to the east of Hamilton, connecting to the existing Tamahere interchange just south of Hillcrest.
Peka Peka to Otaki ExpresswayThe aim of this project is to remove congestion points for through-traffic consisting of 4 lanes and helping to improve journey time reliability through the Kāpiti Coast area, and to increase all safety aspects.
Cambridge ExpresswayThe Cambridge 4 lane section of the Waikato Expressway starts south of the existing Tamahere interchange and runs for 16km, it finishes around 2.5km south of Cambridge where it connects with the existing State Highway 1.

Experts in Road Safety Barrier, Fencing and Hydro Excavation
Guard-Rail BarriersOur guard-rail barriers provide semi-rigid protection to shield motorists from hazards and other oncoming traffic to minimise the impact when an accident occurs. We install new, repair and maintain all guard-rail.
Wire-Rope Safety Barrier (WRSB)Used for roadside or median safety traffic barrier. It consists of steel wire ropes mounted on posts. Its primary purpose is to prevent a vehicle from leaving its travelled path and striking a fixed object or other oncoming traffic that is less forgiving than itself. We are involved in a NZTA New Zealand first for Wire Rope Safety Barriers (WRSB).
Hydro ExcavationHydro Excavation is a precise technique using pressurised water that breaks down soil, dust, dirt and debris with an industrial strength vacuum that simultaneously evacuates the material
Residential FencingVarious types of fencing including pool, paling, florida fencing, post & batten, post & rail used to enhance the appearance, secure or modernise a residential property.
Farm/Agricultural FencingFencing for farm land and stock including deer fencing, florida fencing, post & batten, post & rail etc. This can be made from a wide variety of materials, depending on terrain, location and confinement of animals.
Walls - Retaining, Noise, GlarePerimeter fence around a structure, private or commercial property to prevent access. Often secured with spikes or barbed wire on the top to prevent climbing. We also build retaining walls to retain soil in the lateral position for varying ground elevations. We install anti-glare walls and noise walls for noise cancelling.
